Letters to a Man

These lines, written about the suicide of Walter Benjamin, were the starting
point of Letters to a Man at the Border – a room in Portbou. This short film
is a meditation on the last night Walter Benjamin spent in his hotel room in
the border town of Portbou in September 1940. Presented with an artist’s
book in an edition of 50, signed and numbered by the artist.
