Linda Karshan

Born in Minneapolis in 1947, Linda Karshan has lived in London since 1969. Her drawings and prints derive from simple procedures of rhythmic repetition, creating grids, rows and stacks. Minimal in their means and appearance, they are charged with an intuitive energy.

Linda Karshan and Tamar Yoseloff

This is No.3 in a series of poetry pamphlets printed and published by Pratt Contemporary Art. Marks 1 and 10 are from a sequence of poems by Tamar Yoseloff published in the Artist's Book of the same title (see above). The images are from Six Days, a series of drypoints by Linda Karshan.

Limited to 750 copies, each pamphlet is numbered and signed by Linda Karshan and Tamar Yoseloff. Printed on Bockingford Inkjet 190gsm.

Tamar Yoseloff, poet, was born in New Jersey in 1965 and has lived in London since 1987. She is the author of three collections of poetry; the most recent is Fetch (Salt Publishing, 2007). Her poems are often rooted in landscape, and sometimes take visual works as their departure point.
